These general travel terms and conditions apply to all travel services and arrangements offered under the trade name Travel2Move by Travel2Group (hereinafter referred to as “Travel2Move”), unless otherwise agreed in writing.
At Travel2Move we value clarity. These terms and conditions explain exactly what you can expect.
Article 1 – Definitions and applicability
Travel2Move refers to the company Travel2Group, established in Nijverdal, the Netherlands, operating under the trade name Travel2Move.
Traveller refers to any natural person who books or intends to book a trip with Travel2Move.
Agreement refers to the travel agreement concluded between Travel2Move and the traveller.
These terms and conditions apply to all offers, bookings and agreements made by Travel2Move.
Obvious errors or mistakes in publications, offers or on the website are not binding on Travel2Move.
Article 2 – Offers and formation of the agreement
All Travel2Move trips are offered on request. Submitting a request constitutes a booking request. An agreement is only concluded after written confirmation by email from Travel2Move.
If parts of the requested trip are unavailable, a suitable alternative may be offered. If no alternative is possible, the request will lapse free of charge. For bookings involving multiple travellers, the main booker is jointly liable for all obligations arising from the agreement.
Article 3 – Payment
After confirmation of the booking, the traveller will receive an invoice. A deposit of 35% of the total travel price must be paid within seven days after confirmation of the booking.
If the traveller’s place of residence is outside the Netherlands, the deposit amounts to 50% of the total travel price, payable within seven days after confirmation. This higher deposit is based on increased payment and collection risks as well as potential international transaction costs.
The remaining balance of the travel price must be paid no later than six weeks prior to departure.
For bookings made within six weeks before departure, the full travel price must be paid immediately at the time of booking.
For travellers residing within the European Union, Travel2Move accepts payments by debit card or bank transfer.
For travellers residing outside the European Union, payment may also be made by credit card, in which case the full travel price (100%) must be paid at the time of booking.
If the traveller fails to meet the payment obligations on time, Travel2Move reserves the right to cancel the agreement. Any costs may be charged insofar as they are reasonable and correspond to the actual damage suffered.
Article 4 – Prices and additional costs
All prices are per person and inclusive of VAT, unless stated otherwise. The travel price includes only the services described in the relevant trip description.
Additional costs may include a booking fee of €27.50 per booking and a mandatory guarantee fund contribution of €12.00 per person.
Local tourist taxes and levies are not included and must be paid on site where applicable.
All costs are clearly shown during the booking process and on the invoice.
Article 5 – Changes requested by the traveller
Changes requested by the traveller may be submitted in writing up to 42 days before departure, subject to feasibility. Administrative fees and any additional costs resulting from the change are borne by the traveller.
Article 6 – Transfer of the trip
The traveller may transfer the trip to a third party, provided this is communicated in writing no later than seven days before departure.
The new traveller must meet all conditions of the agreement. The original traveller and the transferee are jointly liable for payment of the travel price and any additional costs.
Article 7 – Price changes after booking
Travel2Move may increase the travel price if this results from changes in transportation costs, taxes, surcharges, or exchange rates. Price increases will be communicated no later than twenty days before departure.
If the price increase exceeds eight percent, the traveller has the right to terminate the agreement free of charge.
Article 8 – Cancellation by the traveller
Cancellation by the traveller must be made in writing, for example by email or letter. The date on which Travel2Move receives the cancellation will be considered the official cancellation date.
In the event of cancellation of the travel agreement, the traveller is liable for cancellation fees depending on the moment of cancellation:
- up to 84 days before departure: 35% of the travel price
- 84 to 42 days before departure: 50% of the travel price
- 42 to 28 days before departure: 70% of the travel price
- 28 to 14 days before departure: 90% of the travel price
- 14 days or less before departure: 100% of the travel price
These cancellation fees are based on expected costs, obligations already entered into with local partners and the limited possibility of reselling active and tailor-made travel arrangements.
Booking fees, administration fees and contributions to any guarantee scheme are non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
Travel2Move strongly recommends that travellers take out adequate travel insurance and cancellation insurance.
Article 9 – Changes or cancellation by Travel2Move
Travel2Move may modify or cancel a trip due to unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances, including natural disasters, pandemics, war, strikes, government measures, technical failures, or extreme weather.
In the event of cancellation, the traveller is entitled to an equivalent alternative trip or a refund of amounts paid. No additional compensation is due.
Article 10 – Liability
Travel2Move is responsible for the proper execution of the agreement. To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to a maximum of three times the travel price, unless damage results from injury, death, intent, or gross negligence.
Travel2Move is not liable for damage caused by the traveller, third parties, or circumstances beyond its control.
Article 11 – Active travel and health
The traveller declares to be physically and mentally fit to participate in the booked active trip. Participation in active holidays is at the traveller’s own risk. Consequences of insufficient fitness or health fall outside Travel2Move’s liability.
Article 12 – Obligations of the traveller
